Framing the Romance

This is a card we made recently at my 6 Card Class, clean and simple but stylish in it's own way.

We used the new "Bordering on Romance" stamp set, watercoloured the image using the Aqua Painters and ink from the lids of the ink pads onto the Watercolour paper, the results are lovely.  You will need to use the Black StazOn ink for the outline image otherwise you will get a bleed when you watercolour.

We have used the new Framelits Labels which we then embossed with the Oval Designer Frame, it fits lovely inside then the co-ordinating Oval Punch fits inside that, don't you love how everything works together!  The designer paper is from the "First Edition" pack.

We also used the new Edgelits "elegant edge" (that's my word for it!) along with the co-ordinating embossing folder.  To finish we tied a knot around a small piece of Crochet Trim and Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon.

With Thanks, birdy style!

I recently made this card for Jenna, Jay's niece who made me some beautiful Roman Blinds for my Craft room, hence I need to say they are still hanging over the banister waiting for Jason to pick up his drill and as much as I complain about the sun being in my eyes, there they still hang!

I used the Aviary set which I adore, and used the masking technique that I had showed at a recent workshop which inspired my card.

My colour combo is Sahara Sand, Regal Rose and Pool Party with a little Pear Pizzazz thrown in.

Still loving those Antique brads, aren't you?  They make a beautiful centre for the 5 Petal Flower which is punched out with the Patterns Paper Stack in Regal Rose spots.

I spritzed the background and added some flowers punched using the Bitty Punch pack then adhered pearls to the centres.  I used some of the gorgeous Crochet Trim to add more texture along with the Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon.  The greeting is from one of the Sale-a-bration sets that has now sadly retired but I love it so much I will use it for my personal cards.

Table Gifts

As promised, here are the final pictures from my all day event earlier this month, mostly the table gifts that everyone received on the day.

Everyone received a name place, of course decorated within the theme of the Mixed Bunch stamp set and the colour combinations we were using on the day.  I used the new Adoring Accents Embossing Folders to create the lovely run of embossed hearts, and these come in a pack of three.

Individual names were stamped using "Just Perfect" alphabet stamps.

Next everyone received a ribbon bag

And of course a chocolate treat and some water to keep everyone hydrated as you know how we get engrossed in what we are doing and forget to drink!

Last but not least, their goody bag which contained the Mixed Bunch stamp set and a whole roll of the gorgeous new Pleated Ribbon.  Of course everyone also had kit bags that contained all their pre-cut kits to create their projects on the day!

And here everyone is busily creating away!

My next Saturday class at Whitminster is being held on 30th June, just a morning one 10am - 1.00pm so I hope you will be able to join me.  Contact me for more details or to book your space.

Time Flies!

Goodness, where does the time go, last week just flew by, it was a busy one so guess that's why!

On Saturday I held an all day class to celebrate the new products from the Summer Mini Catalogue which I am loving by the way!

We used the new "Mixed Bunch" stamp set and co-ordinating Blossom Punch to create our projects along with the gorgeous Twitterpated Designer Papers.

Here they are, the first session consisted of three cards and we used some of the new Framelits Labels and Adorning Accents Edgelits:

The second session was two 3D projects, a gift bag that could carry a set of notecards and a card wrap, suitable for giving a heavily embellished card:

The final session was two more cards and a gift bag that is perfect for holding a Cupcake:

I will be back tomorrow with the final pictures of the day.

NEXT SATURDAY CLASS WILL BE ON 30TH JUNE, 10.00AM-1.00PM, JUST A MORNING ONE THIS TIME AND WE WILL BE USING THE "BORDERING ON ROMANCE" STAMP SET.

Mixed Bunch

My card today uses "Mixed Bunch" a stamp set which is from the NEW Summer Mini Catalogue and I really love it, available in Wood and Clear and with a co-ordinating "Blossom Punch" too which is great.

I have purposely used lots of NEW products on this card to share them with you.

We now have gorgeous new "wafer-thin" dies that layer inside each other which are called "Framelits" and this you can see in Baja Breeze surrounding my Ballerina outfit, along with Edgelits which cut the scallops at the bottom.  This die also has a co-ordinating embossing folder, click on the picture for a closer look.

I am soooo in love with the new Pleated Satin Ribbon available in 4 gorgeous colours and I currently have a share going with these so will post the info about that tomorrow.

I have stamped a flower from the "Mixed Bunch" set in Blushing Bride ink, punched it out with the co-ordinating Blossom Punch, then cut it in half.  Next I took my Owl Punch and punched out a Whisper White body and stuck over my half blossom to look like a ballerina outfit.  I made a fairy wand using the Boho Blossom Punch with one of the new Twitterpated Designer Buttons and some of the lovely Calypso Coral Bakers Twine.

My greeting "Just for You" is from another new stamp set called "Tea Shoppe", will be sharing some samples of that one soon!

The designer papers are from the "Twitterpated" product suite, just love all those colours together, they are so feminine.

I was lucky enough to get the "Mixed Bunch" stamp set for FREE at the recent Stampin' Up! training in Reading, one of the great things about being a Demonstrator is that I get to earn lots of free goodies and also get a permanent discount on the products I buy.

The New Starter Kit is priced at a lower price of £99 and is fully customisable to your requirements, so you get to choose what you want and you will get £130 of product plus a business pack all shipped to your door free of charge.  Whether you want to earn yourself an extra income or you would just like to receive a discount on all your Stampin' Up! products, the Starter Kit is a great way to get you going.

Woo Hoo, the Summer Mini is here.

Bursting with soooo many gorgeous new products that I just can't wait to share with you.

Click on the picture to the left to view the online version of the catalogue.

Introducing the new "Simply Scored" Board, a totally amazing tool that I am so in love with already, score tracks at every 1/8" taking card up to 12x12" with a Metric Plate that can be purchased separately which slides in securely over the scoring tool.  Also we have a Diagonal Plate, released only today to us Demonstrators so I can't wait to receive that.

So many things to share with you over the next few days, but here is a little sample of some of one of the stamp sets and accessories and some great new Big Shot products too:

Have to dash off to a class but will be back very soon with more information and pictures to share.
