Scrapbooking

I will be really sad to see the "Sycamore Street" patterned papers disappear at the end of Sale-a-bration (only 2 days left to get your pack for FREE).

I'm not the biggest fan of Calypso Coral as I find bright colours harder to work with but teamed with Pool Party I just love it.  I can't quite imagine how I will survive without the 2011-13 In Colours when they go at the end of June.

Our friend's daughter turned 18 recently and we went out to celebrate, more than once too!!  Here she is with my daughter Sophie then with her Balloon Hat and Cake at T.G.I. Friday's after we had all sang to her!!

The "Blossom Party" flower die is brilliant, I find so many uses for it and love the sizes of the flowers, perfect for Scrapbooking and Card Making alike.

The Doily Sizzlit die is so pretty

I used the new "Bitty Butterfly" Punch which co-ordinates with the "Papillon Potpurri" stamp set which includes butterfly images that also work with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.

Final Projects -All Day Class

For the final projects we made a card and gift/treat box.

Firstly the card, which took a liking to the Basic Gray ink at some point during the day.  A bit of sanding on the Cored'inations cardstock with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder {love}, argggh, I know, I just love everything!!

Soda Pop Tops, so versatile and look great when "squashed" with the Big Shot machine and who could resist the lovely Tea Lace Doilies.

Gorgeous 2 tone ribbon

The box was based on the design of the card, I had seen a heart cut out from another gift bag using the "Hearts a Flutter" Framelits and loved the look so went with it too.

I used the "Collage Curios" ballon stamp to centre the Soda Pop Top and isn't the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch adorable!

There is just one final thing we made, sorry that I didn't get a better picture but the ear-rings in real life we really sweet.

All Day Class

Back with more projects from my All Day Class...

I saw a clever fold created with the Scallop Square Die by Amanda at The Craft Spa and fell in love with it and this is where my inspiration came from.  I had already designed the card but was looking for something with a little more wow and this fold certainly did that.

I am loving the "Cloudy Day" embossing folder and I know you all are too, it's so effective.

I used the Elegant and Bitty Butterfly punches then the greeting is a Sale-a-bration set called "Pretty Petites".  Just TWO DAYS LEFT to get yourself some lovely exclusive products for FREE with the Sale-a-bration offer, don't miss out.

To go with the card we made a wrap to hold it in, following with the same colour scheme and using a stamp set "A Little Greeting" that was included with the class fee.

The papers are from "More Amour" and contain lovely combinations of Pool Party, Primrose Petals, Basic Gray and Real Red.

The final project for this session was a Chocolate Treat Holder created to co-ordinate with the other items so they could be given together.

This ribbon is from the "Sycamore Street" Ribbon and Button pack which is a Sale-a-bration free item when you spend £45, it is so gorgeous I will really miss it when the promotion finishes on Friday.

Cute, dont you think?

Class Projects

So finally I am here to share the projects we created at my all day class.

Firstly here's a Tea Box, it's been around for a while but I'd never made one before and seen some lovely creations and decided that as we have some gorgeous trinkets available in the new Spring Summer Catalogue it would be a perfect option.

My inspiration came from Heather Klump, I changed it slightly using a different base design and lid keeping it more simple for my ladies to create, but felt that although a little plain it was enough with the bold pattern of the papers.

The trinkets are so cute and everyone recieved a whole pack so I hope they have been put to good use on more tea boxes!

To go with this gift everyone made a co-ordinating card in the same colour scheme so that both could be given together.

We used the "Oh Hello" stamp set which I love, the flower is so pretty when coloured with the Marker Pens.

Loving the Honeycomb embossing folder, it gives such a deep textured finish.

More gorgeousness with the Flower Trim, these flowers are so soft and squidgy, great for posting.

Don't be deceived into thinking the chevron oval behind the flowers is patterned papers, it's actually a stamp from the "Oh Hello" set which you can cut out using the new Ovals Framelits dies!

Back soon with the rest of our projects....

All Day Class at Whitminster

I can't believe how quickly time is flying by, I haven't found the time to blog recently with preparations for classes and exhibiting at the Malvern Show, there's just not enough hours in the day.

A couple of weeks ago I held my first all day class of 2013 and lots of lovely ladies joined me to get creative!

Here's one of the tables set ready for everyone to arrive, goody bags as usual, containing all their products they will use during the day.

The room soon filled and everyone began to stamp!

I love packing their goodies

The tea lace paper doiles are so pretty.  I used the "Hearts a Flutter" stamps and framelits dies to decorate adding a punched Bitty Butterly with the Silver Glimmer Paper.  Did you know you can colour this to create lots of different colours of glimmer paper using a marker pen or ink with an aqua painter?

This packaging wasn't my idea, I saw something similar and loved how it worked so decided to give it a try.  I just measured around my stamp set and created a box to fit.

I had a special guest join us at the Class.  Hayley brought along her Candy Cart, we had met at a Fair and I thought it would be a nice treat for everyone as a thank you for their continued support.  I made treat boxes for everyone to contain their sweets, using the Fancy Favour Die with the Big Shot machine.

I stamped the cello bags with my Distressed Dots background stamp using Stazon White ink then personalised each one.

Back with the projects we created soon!

Saturday, March 2, 2013

Come and say hello....

Sorry that things have been a little quiet around here, with my All Day Class last Saturday and then classes early this week and preparation for the Malvern Craft Show there has been no time for anything!  I will be back with you next week to share the projects from my All Day Class.

Today is the last day you can come along and see myself and Caroline at the Malvern Show.

We have had two busy days of chatting and stamping with lots of new people and we are looking forward to our final day.

Here is a peak of our stand displaying lots of items that Stampin' Up! has to offer along with samples to offer inspiration.

We have had so many comments about the set up of our stand, and are pleased how it turned out, my vision fell into place although when I arrived at Caroline's with hardly any room to fit her in I was a little concerned and was beginning to think that 2 tables would have been much easier!

Thanks go to my lovely hubby Jay for all the help he gave me loading the car on Wednesday evening making everthing fit, it really was like a jigsaw puzzle, and not to mention my shelf building family for their support.

We have been running a Make and Take session which has been fully booked both days so far, so if you are planning on coming along today, get to that booking table first thing to reserve your place.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by and we will be speaking with lots of you very soon!
