Faux Tearing Technique

And finally, the last card from my class, four in total then there's just one more thing to share, a gift box, but more on that later!

For this card we used the

Faux Tearing Technique

I love how easy this technique is, simply tear a piece of copy paper, tape it down onto your base layer of vanilla or white, leaving a gap between the tears.  Daub with your chosen colour between the torn paper being careful not to move them or ink underneath the torn edges.  Once your'e happy you have enough colour, stamp your image then remove the torn copy paper and voila!!

I pulled my Bow Punch from my shelf and used crumb cake cardstock to create my little bow.

I do love texture, this corrugated card from Stampin' Up! is a great addition to our standard card, I love it, ha ha, I do make myself laugh when I type that, I just love it all don't I!!!!!

If you've not tried this technique before, give it a go, it's really easy and very effective!

I hope you've enjoyed the cards I've created with the In The Meadow stamp set, I think it's a great versatile set that you will use for lots of different occasions

The third card from the set of four I created for my

I just love how simple these images are and how effective a little watercolouring can make them, so so pretty and delicate!

I added a bow using the gorgeous Crumb Cake satin ribbon, this ribbon ties the most perfect bows and comes in a variety of colours!

In The Meadow class projects

Following on from my previous post, here's another card from my recent

In The Meadow Class

I love how pretty these images are in this stamp set

Watercolouring is so relaxing, you don't need any skills to achieve this beautiful finish, just take an aqua painter, squeeze your ink pad before opening and take ink from the lid to paint with, you will need to continually re-applying ink to colour with.  It doesn't matter if you go over the edges of the stamped image, it just adds to the finished look!

I get so much use from my little flower punch, it really is a must have and comes with two other cute little punches, a heart and a star, the set is called "Itty Bitty Accent Punches", click on the picture below and you will be directed to my online shop for more information.

I still have spaces for my repeat of this class on

Thursday 24th March
at my house

9.30am - 1.00pm
and
6.30pm - 9.00pm

£15 for the card kits or £28 to include the stamp set aswell
