Happy Saturday!

This morning I am running a class in Whitminster, I love my Saturday events and I try to run one everyone month, depending on Jack's racing dates and availability of the hall, it's not always possible.  I've not had an All Day Saturday event for some time now, maybe I will schedule one in!

As promised, the third card from the set, similar layout to the first one I shared, but using different colours for the layers of cardstock.

I will be sad to see this stamp set go, along with the gorgeous Patterned Paper Stack called "Love Blossoms", the colours and patterns are just so pretty.

I hope you are enjoying my creations with this stamp set, I have one more card to share with you from this class, along with the 3D project of the day.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a lovely weekend planned!

Happy Home Class projects continued...

I'm back today with the second card from my

"Happy Home" class

This time I used the bench on the hill scene image which could be used for a multitude of occasions, I think that's why I love this set so much, it really is great value for money and just so versatile.

On this card I created a blind for my window, this wasn't my idea at all, I found it whilst browsing Pinterest and liked the look.  Don't you just love Pinterest, it is way too inspiring and you really must set the timer before you pay it a visit or you could be there for hours!

So you might be wondering how I created my scallop edge.....
it's simply from the Squares Framelits Collection dies, the largest square is scalloped so I just used one edge to cut a border!

My vase of flowers was created using another stamp set called

Pictogram Punches

then I punched some cute leaves from the Bird Builder Punch, another item I will be sad to say goodbye to.

Just some gentle colour applied on this image using a Dauber

Happy Home

Today I am sharing with you one in a series of cards that I made for a recent product class, everyone attending received the "Happy Home" stamp set which is sadly retiring from our current Spring/Summer Catalogue.

Here's the first card, using a favourite colour combo of mine

Crumb Cake
Blushing Bride
Whisper White

To colour in the tree image I used my daubers, dipping them into the ink then taking it off on my grid paper before gently applying to my image as I had used Early Espresso ink which is water based and may smudge if too much pressure was applied.  I could have used our Black Archival ink which would solve this problem but I wanted a slightly softer colour for the tree image.

On the Crumb Cake background layer I stamped the tiny flowers with the Kraft White ink, I love this effect.

I will be running a class at my house on

THURSDAY 12TH MAY
7.00PM START
